founded Atlanta's Micro Solutions, Inc. (AMS)
providing technology-based products, consulting
services, and software development. During
the building of AMS, Sherrill represented
Intelogic Trace, Inc. and was responsible
for acquiring some of the company's largest
accounts for its hardware, maintenance, and
professional services. Intelogic Trace, Inc.,
a $200 million national third party maintenance
provider, was formed as the service division
of Datapoint Corporation, the creator of the
first LAN technology (ArcNet). AMS was later
merged into Sherrill's next venture, Multi-User
Solutions, Inc.
In 1991, Darrin Sherrill formed Multi-User
Solutions, Inc. (MUS). MUS focused on providing
help desk, hardware maintenance, operating
system support, integration, and installation
services. MUS experienced a tremendous amount
of growth and success under Sherrill's
leadership. During the growth of MUS, Sherrill
developed MUS' unique infrastructure
design, systems management, and service
delivery techniques. Nine years later, Sherrill
sold MUS to Computone Corporation, a public
company who manufactured IT products.
Two years later, Sherrill formed Tech Force,
another winning technology company focused
on professional services, support, integration,
and logistics.
